Talented Tots Learning Center - where learning equals fun



Talented Tots Learning Center, 1452 Kearney Rd., was recently recognized by the Clay County Economic Development Council with a 2014 Keystone Award for the creation of a modern, 8,000 sq. ft. day care for 136 children in the Excelsior Springs community.
The preschool/childcare facility has several locations, operating since 2007.
Aimee Owen, who is the local owner/manager with her husband Greg, said, "We


joined the Chamber to show our commitment to the city of Excelsior Springs and it's community we are serving.Talented Tots Learning Center exists to provide families with childcare that promotes a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where children grow socially, emotionally, and academically."
The new business joined the Chamber in September. It represents an approximately $800,000 project that added 20 full-time and five part-time employees.

For more than half a century, North Kansas City Hospital has been the Northland’s leading healthcare provider. As an acute-care facility with 451 licensed beds, NKCH specializes in cardiac care, cancer care, orthopedics, women's health, minimally invasive surgery and emergency services.
North Kansas City Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a 24,000 square-foot Emergency Department that is one of the busiest in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It also features a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, the only Level III unit in the Northland. Additionally, the hospital is partnering with The University of Kansas Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated facility, to provide comprehensive cancer treatment to its Northland patients.
