We serve as an information source for those looking for recommendations for businesses located in our community. Chamber membership is vital to the growth and prosperity of the economy. It provides the opportunity to market your company to other members, to have a voice in community development, to promote the continued growth of the region, and to foster improved quality of life in our area.

The Chamber does a variety of outreach marketing and education to encourage residents to shop local, eat local and support local. This includes shop local advertising campaigns, our Excelsior Expo in the fall, educational inserts in water bills, our Holiday Gift Guide, Small Business Saturday promotions, trolley shuttles and so much more! We understand the importance of small businesses within our community.
Fair Share dues structure
Our membership dues are based on how many employees your business has. This model is referred to as the “fair share” model. Because the Excelsior Springs business community is comprised primarily of small businesses (80% have 10 or less employees), the fair share model allows the “mom and pop shops” to have affordable access to the same services and benefits of Chamber membership as the bigger businesses.
We have also set aside special rates for our Friends of the Chamber which is great for retirees who have no business affiliation. In addition, we have rates specifically for non-profit organizations with no employees and churches, as well as financial institutions and utility companies.
