• July 11 – Kids Art Showcase sponsored by Excelsior Springs Parks and Recreation.

• July 11 – Second Fridays downtown Excelsior Springs, 5-8 p.m. Enjoy feature artists, music, dining and shopping. Sponsored by Downtown Excelsior Partnership.

• July 11 – Copper Creek Band, Willow Spring Mercantile, 249 E. Broadway, 5-8 p.m. Live in the wine cellar during Second Fridays.

• July 11 – Youth Theatre Camp Production, Slightly Off Broadway Theatre, 114 Marietta St., 7-9 p.m. $1.00 admission.

• July 11-12 – The Rocky Horror Show (the musical), Slightly Off Broadway Theatre, 114 Marietta St., 9-11 p.m. Produced by special arrangement by Samuel French. $15 admission.

• July 15 – Veterans Breakfast will be served at Excelsior Springs Walmart, 2203 Patsy Lane, 8-10 a.m. in their honor. Biscuits and gravy. The breakfast will be held in the garden center. There is no fee to attend and the breakfast is open to the public.

• July 18-20 – Weekend Comedy performance at Paradise Playhouse Dinner Theatre & Events Center, 101 Spring St., includes wondeful all-you-can-eat buffet prepared by the famous Golden Ox Restaurant. Friday and Saturday 6-9:30 p.m.; Sunday 11:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
