Major Events in Excelsior Springs

Kim Kordonoway was featured artist at Gallery 105 during the April Friday Night Art Crawl. Kordonoway displayed a Japanese exhibit from the 1950s and other pieces, such as the art above, inspired by her sister's quilts.

• June 26 American Legion Bingo at 208 Veterans Memorial Dr. every Friday, 5:45 and 7 p.m. Profits will go toward the 2009-2010 scholarship program.
• June 26 Farris' All Stars summer musical "Pirates the Musical" will be performed at Farris Theatre in Richmond, 7 p.m. No admission fee; donations accepted.
• June 26 Movies on the Lawn presents "Finding Nemo" on the Elms lawn for free, 9 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase.
• June 27 Biscuits and gravy breakfast in support of the Christmas Committee, Ventana Gourmet Grill, 7-11 a.m. Tickets cost $5.
• June 27 Outdoor Swap & Shop All Day! $15 a space to set up. Everyone is invited to either set up and sell or to come and shop! (Weather permitting.)
June 27 New Age Skincare Spa will celebrate with a 1st Anniversary Open House, 102 E. Broadway.
