The Water Bar at the Hall of Waters was packed Saturday, Nov. 22 for the kick-off of "Ringing in the Season," a holiday event sponsored by the Christmas Committee of the Excelsior Springs Chamber. The Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center Culinary Arts Department made and served giant cookies to the crowd.
Excelsior Springs businesses and organizations known for their giving spirit come together offering their hospitality. Holiday season filled with activities, atmosphere, shopping as you can imagine, we have planned an exciting and fun filled holiday experience for our community. Some of the activities scheduled are:
Hall of Trees in the Hall of Waters – Nov. 22, 2008 - Jan. 1, 2009
Open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. Special weekend host will be area small businesses offering unique gift ideas. Join us for a fun shopping experience. Call for special arrangement for large groups and evening hours.
Gingerbread Village at The Elm's Resort & Spa – on display Nov. 22 through Dec. 30
Holiday Homes Tour – December 13, 2008, 12 – 7 pm
The Holiday Homes Tour event consists of tours through five beautifully decorated homes in Excelsior Springs area. Tickets will be on sale through various businesses and at the homes. $10 in advance; $14 at the homes. Click here for home photos.
Lane of Lights
The Lane of Lights holiday light display in East Valley Park's "Lover's Lane" will be open on during the holidays. The display has grown again this year, so don't miss seeing the spectacular display.
